On the second visit ... (45-60 minutes)
When you return on the second visit, the doctor will take adequate
time to explain all examination and x-ray findings to you. The
doctor will then make the appropriate recommendations. If you
are a candidate for the NUCCA and Advanced Orthogonal correction, the care will be explained
thoroughly.
Each correction is determined from the x-ray measurements.
One thing is universal, the light touch of the adjustment will
set your body in the direction for achieving optimal health for
you. Patients lay on their left or right side on the adjusting
table. By gently contacting the side of your neck, the doctor
will direct your head, neck and back toward a balanced, healthy
position. Each adjustment experience is unique to the individual.
Afterwards, the patient will spend the next 15 minutes resting
to allow the body to adapt to its new position. The doctor will
take x-rays after your adjustment to confirm results (The NUCCA
and Advanced Orthogonal high “standard of care”). This is typically done
only after the initial adjustment. What we know is “the
better the correction, the better the recovery.”
Finally,
you will be scheduled for a routine visit to check the status
of your spinal correction. Subsequent visits (5-15minutes)
