I am a 57 year old woman who was a caregiver to my ailing Mom and was under immense stress and physical activity. The muscles in my neck were like rocks and I couldn't turn my neck in either direction.

I suffered from severe migraines for 20 years. I've tried everything from every kind of migraine pill made to physical therapy, heating pads, chiropractors and even being in a dark room with no noise and a pillow over my head!
To tell you the truth, I was miserable. I was hard to be around because I was in such pain. I was moody. I would snap at everyone and everything. I never felt good enough to enjoy my life and the things I love to do.

We initially brought Jack in when he was 8 weeks old because our pediatrician diagnosed him with torticollis.
We came to NUCCA right away and started doing stretching exercises with Jack at home as well.
We noticed an immediate difference right away - aside from the torticollis. After the initial visit, Jack lost that "newborn stare" and became extremely alert, very vocal and had so much more movement - he could roll over at 9 weeks.
We absolutely plan to continue Jack on wellness care. I think having Jack adjusted regularly has really benefited him. He has extremely good balance and has hit al of his physical milestones early. He has no allergies, and at 15 months has had only 2 minor colds and has not once been on antibiotics!
I would tell other Moms that bringing their child to NUCCA care is just one more thing they can do to help them stay mentally and physically healthy! My initial problem was degeneration of my cervical spine. When I turned my head from side to side, I could hear a crushing sound. When I lifted my head up and down, I would hear a clicking sound. My neck was always stiff and I was not able to turn my head and neck unless I turned my whole body from the waist. This slowed down my mobility and caused anxiety while driving and doing other critical movements. Sleeping was also affected, twisting and turning trying to get into a position that would relive the pain was impossible.
I first went to an orthopedic specialist and physical therapy was recommended. After two weeks of therapy, nothing changed.
One day after feeling sorry for myself, I read in the local paper about Upper Cervical Chiropractic of Monmouth and NUCCA Specialist Dr. Larry Arbeitman.
My wife kept telling me to find a good Chiropractic Doctor. I told my wife I was not going to a Chiropractic Doctor who was not specialized in the upper neck area. After reading the article I made an appointment, my first consultation with Dr. Larry and the computerized diagnostic testing gave me a good feeling that I was in the right place.
I am happy to say that after expert cervical adjustments by both Dr. Larry and Dr. Jason, I have regained my mobility so I can move my neck in a normal manner. The crushing and clicking sounds diminished. Sleeping is no longer the problem that it was.
I am pleased to continue with my program so I will not regress back to the state that I was in prior to finding Dr. Larry and his professional staff.

I experienced blinding headaches at the top of my head and Trigeminal Neuralgia. I Could not eat, sleep or enjoy life.

I had limited ability to move around quickly due to a pulled muscle in my hip area. The pain was so severe; I required a cane to get around. I tried heating pads, aspirin, muscle relaxers, ice, all to no avail. Going to work was quite difficult for me since my movement was restricted, and when I was home, all I could do was rest and sit down. Since coming to Upper Cervical Chiropractic, there have been major changes! I feel wonderful, and a cane is not a necessity any longer. My flexibility has improved and I am me again, only feeling much younger and healthier. How do I feel about continuing on wellness care? I had numbing in my left arm and leg. I also had a Charlie horse and severe pain in my left shoulder blade. I suffered from pain and lack of mobility in my neck.
Along with taking ibuprofen and using a heating pad, I had to rest periodically throughout the day. My husband would have to pull my arms and legs to release the pain and pressure in my spine and lower back. I suffered from mood changes and had to pace myself taking rests, using the heating pad in between my daily chores.
I feel like a new person! I am virtually PAIN FREE. I am able to get up in the morning feeling great and continue with my day without any breaks, heating pads or medication. And, I have a happy disposition.

I could not walk or sleep due to intense and severe pain in my lower back, thigh and knee. I experienced paralysis and weakness in my right leg and some in both arms, along with neck pain and swelling in my ankles. I was exhausted. An MRI showed a herniated disc in the lower and upper spine and neck curvature.
My first attempt to help this problem was having a massage and that did not work. My second attempt was visiting a 24 hour emergency clinic. I received a cortisone injection in my back and was given a prescription for an anti-inflammatory and painkillers. My third attempt was using heat/cold and over the counter homeopathic medicines. The fourth attempt was traditional chiropractic care. Surgery was also discussed.
I could not work, sleep, exercise or go fishing. I was not pleasant to be around. This was by far the most intense pain from an injury I ever suffered.
I am now almost pain free after a few weeks of treatment I can walk and sleep again. I have no paralysis. I am gradually getting stronger. I can feel the healing process underway. I plan to continue my wellness care because being pain free was my first goal for obvious reasons. However, I didn’t want to suffer a spinal injury again and continued care will eventually repair the root of the problem that caused these injuries from occurring in the first place. This takes time. I also want to see overtime if other medical problems will also be corrected.
If you are interested in Upper Cervical Care and are unsure about it I would first educate yourself on alternative medicine, specifically Upper Cervical Care and your body’s ability to heal given some guidance from this treatment. Second, realize the cost should not be a factor. Because, in the long run, being unhealthy overtime will be a far greater cost. Third, this treatment is absolutely painless. Fourth, this office has the most scientific and technical approach to our healing process and you will get an education and understanding that will not only help down the road, but also family and friends. Initially I came to Upper Cervical Chiropractic
due to what I was experiencing from a previous car accident and
fall down a flight of stairs. The upper right hand side of my neck
ached and I had recurring pain in
my lower back. Traditional chiropractic,

I also was unable

I am in pretty good health, but I was getting

I originally had back
issues when I was 13-14

A cervical spine injury had occurred many years
ago. I had pain on the right side of my head
and neck, shoulder stiffness,
an inability to turn my head right and pain upon bending forward
to look down. I tried many options; orthopaedics-xrays,
MRI, physical therapy, pain management doctor, did facet blocks,
epidural, radio frequency waves to deaden nerves, acupuncture,
naproxen. I did not

The pain was so bad I couldn`t move at all without
a horrible shooting pain in my head. I could not move my head to
the left or in any position without that sharp shooting pain. My
neck was also frozen and unable to move. Lucky for me I went straight
to Upper Cervical Chiropractic and it was the BEST decision I made.
After the first adjustment I already started
to see improvements.
I saw Dr. Larry everyday for a week straight and by the third day
the pain was gone and I began gaining mobility back in my neck.
Since
I go to school in Florida it is hard for me to see Dr. Larry as much
as I would like. But I make sure that everytime I come home I stop

I had been to two neurologists, an ENT doctor,
tried antivert, had a CAT scan, and an MRI. I was not

neck and shoulder pain on and off for about three years. I tried

pads and deep massage. I was also taking Motrin almost every night. All of those things
helped temporarily each day and I would start over the next day
with the same problems. I was unable to do
simple house chores like vacuum, laundry , iron or even talk on the phone while doing

| My fourteen year old son suffered from transient
ticks of his eyes and voice for several years. We consulted two

Initially my complaints were neck
pain with limited range of motion, and numbness

| Initially I had stiffness,
numbness, poor mobility, leg discrepancy, pelvic subluxation,
and a misaligned neck. I tried
magnetic therapy for neck, traction, and physical
therapy. The physical
therapy gave me temporary relief for stenosis. My activities were
limited. I couldn't do chores that I used to do.
I had to use a cane
when away from the house. Now I have a return
of mobility, my energy
has increased, allowing me to become more active. Numbness has been
replaced with circulation and feeling despite the pain which does

I had a stiff
neck so severe that I would have
to turn my body to look from side to side. In the two years that
I had the pain I saw three doctors. I was given anti-inflammatory
medicine and muscle relaxers. Nothing helped. The pain stopped me

because I couldn't turn my neck from side to side. Now, after

A pinched nerve, resulting in severe
pain in my left leg, radiating from my hip down my leg to my foot causing
numbness in my shin and large toe, with foot
drop, brought me in

A MIRACLE " I am a wife, mom and grandmother who was suffering with Fibromyalgia, bone spurs in my neck, Headaches, TMJ, Fatigue, Arthritis and Tendonitis.
