The care described on Dr. Arbeitman's web
site is performed in accordance with the guidelines of the National
Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association (NUCCA). Currently, very
few NUCCA upper cervical specialists exist in the USA or worldwide.
Therefore, many patients (from other states and/or countries)
choose to travel to the closest NUCCA practitioner.
Dr. Arbeitman sympathizes with each individual's struggle to
attain quality upper cervical care since it is not readily available.
However, please be advised that because the NUCCA procedure is
extensive, it is impossible for Dr. Arbeitman to advise an individual's
local chiropractor on how to perform the procedure and/or any
of the diagnostics involved.
Each individual`s care plan is specifically designed for his
or her case and is determined at the initial evaluation appointment.
Pediatric cases typically require less care than adults.
As a
goal and a guide, patients who travel for care should make
arrangements to be seen multiple times over 2 to 3 months so
that once the
initial correction is made, stability can be achieved. For
the best results, the above parameters should be planned for. |
